Can't seem to connect with PuTTY

generated the required .ppk file and loaded it in Connection=>SSH=>Auth=>Private key file for authentication.

The connection ERROR message: Network Error: Connection refused.

Am i doing something wrong ?

Most likely the remote host is running on a different port. Or it's being blocked by firewall.

PS. superuser.com is probably better place to ask.
