I currently have Ubuntu 9.10 and Windows 7 32bit installed with my windows bootloader being able to boot into ubuntu. I get very annoyed that Ubuntu is automaticaly selected at startup and I want to switch to my default windows bootloader and remove GRUB. How do I do this?

BTW: My computer boots like this GRUB>Ubuntu

OR GRUB>Windows Windows Bootloader>Windows

A:

Either:

a) Change the default in Grub to Windows, and reduce the timeout, so you don't have to wait so long.

b)

  1. Install Grub to the Linux partition boot sector
  2. Reinstall Windows boot sector
  3. Add Linux to Windows boot loader (See http://port25.technet.com/archive/2006/10/13/Using-Vista_2700_s-Boot-Manager-to-Boot-Linux-and-Dual-Booting-with-BitLocker-Protection-with-TPM-Support.aspx for example)

Could I possibly delete the GRUB partition?

GRUB doesn't have a partition? If you mean not use GRUB while loading Linux, then it easier and better just to reduce the timeout.
