How to defeat outsource fear?

Hi all,

I have an idea of new software product but have no time to develop it myself. I have a bad experience in partnership with other person 50/50 (he fooled me in a while and stole my idea with source code) so I think about outsourcing the project. I have a fear that outsource product will be not as good as I expect and price will not correspond to stuff that I'll get in the end.

Looking for an advice or some tips how not to be fool. Share your knowledge and experience of good and bad result.

Build a team you can trust which will allow you to build the project. In my opinion outsourcing rarely works well.
