Hey folks,

In my "Professional Communication for Software Engineers" class we're going to be tasked with getting involved in either a face-to-face or online forum where you can give a short, technical, and informational presentation on an engineering topic and then get some feedback by an audience as to their take on how you're presentation went.

The easiest way to do this would seem to be to start a blog, but I'm not sure I could get an audience quick enough to get some good feedback by the time the assignment is due. Some other suggestions that the instructor gave were the following...

  • google groups,
  • www.ted.com
  • local technical user group

...which all are valid suggestions but they all have complications for me and none of them really spark my interest entirely. SO obviously isn't the place for it but maybe it would be a forum like that would cool feature? Anyone have any other good suggestions?

Btw...this place is a GREAT reference for on actually giving the presentation! For more info on that check out the related links!

Presentation Zen looks promising. It would be nice if there was something like that which was all technology focused, but that doesn't really matter to the instructor. Thanks!
