I liked The Data Warehouse Toolkit: The Complete Guide to Dimensional Modeling, but anything on this topic by Ralph Kimball is great IMO.

I second this - it's a good book, covering a variety of useful design idioms. I'ts also quite readable and reasonably short by the standards of such things.

Agreed. And if you have the money for training, DEFINITELY take their courses. The authors teach the courses.
