I am an architect who realises that he needs to heed the call of the machine and put some more tools in his extremely Unix - Linux based tool box.

So, any suggestions for good introductory books on .NET and C#.

I have been pointed towards Trey Nash's book "Accelerated C# 2008" (sanitised Amazon link) which looks interesting, but I just thought I'd post the query on SO.
