Can you pass by reference while using the ternary operator?
Simple question, simple code. This works: $x = &$_SESSION['foo']; This does not: $x = (isset($_SESSION['foo']))?&$_SESSION['foo']:false; It throws PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '&'.
