Can you recommend any good blogs and sites for Managers and Project Managers, obviously oriented to software development.

I started reading Rands in Repose a while ago, and really liked it, even got his book on Amazon. I also read Joel too, and own one of his "Joel on Software" books.

kkaploon made me notice I forgot to mention Jeff's blog, I just didn't relate it to management so much, but it does give lots of useful information, totally recommend too. BTW: when's the book coming out Jeff?

Are there any more interesting sites I'm missing?

I would check out

http://www.stevemcconnell.com/

He has links to interviews he's given etc.

Do you realy not know about "Coding Horror" or did you just forget to mention it?

kkaploon
I do read it, I just forgot to mention it, since I relate it less to management, and more to building software itself...
Fernando
coding horror is hardly a blog worth reading given the title of this question. The last N posts have nothing to do with either.

wikipedia article on it:

read up on your agile.

I'm already into agile. The thing is (at least in my case) agile is great for your development team, but the company itself still requires certain "management stuff" from you even if you apply agile to your development process.

A few more ideas:

ITToolbox's Project Management section which has multiple blogs and Q & A sections.

For more Agile projects Agile Project Leadership Network may have articles or seminars for you.

Sources of Insight has some things that may relate to PM.

Software Project Managment Resources from Construx

In addition to Steve McConnell's personal site (mentioned by Kevin above), I recommend checking out the Code Complete site.

This site includes a good set of resource links and checklists that can be adapted to your needs.

Unfortunately, the site requires a (free) registration to access these materials.

However, both the Code Complete and Rapid Development books are excellent resources.

James Bach's Blog - excellent insight into software testing

Seth Godin's Blog - not necessarily related to software development, but has a lot of great discussion about marketing and business

Some resources from my feedreader/podcatcher/bookmarks:

Manager Tools: Great podcasts on management topics in general. Very applicable to software management or project management as well.

Software Best Practices: Mostly aggregated posts from other blogs but some original content as well.

Agile Toolkit: Podcasts on agile topics.

IEEE Software: Many articles useful to software managers as well. (Requires subscription)

Besides general software and software project management topics, I suggest you follow blogs specific to your domain/industry.

Try PMHut.com, pmi.org (I'm not a big fan of the PMI, but many PM's are), anything written by Tom DeMarco, Lister, Yourdon or Caper Jones

I am suggesting a tool named Proofhub and it’s really due to its latest features. It gives you easiness, proper management and emailing etc. I thing you just see it once.
