Is there a robust OSS alternative to enterprise products like MSMQ?
I had a little research and found:

  1. Apache ActiveMQ (wiki)
  2. RabbitMQ (homepage)

However, I can't tell if they are robust enough for implementation. Please share your thoughts about these products, or add some to the list.

Thanks. Any thoughts? Experience with these MQs?

Progress FUSE is a product line built on Apache ActiveMQ, Apache CXF, and Apache ServiceMix to perform ESB, Webservice and MQ functionality. ActiveMQ is definitely ready for production use, and is perhaps the best platform currently available in the Open Source world. Progress (formerly IONA) also provides commercial support for the product, as do many other organizations. Jboss MQ is also available.

Disclaimer: I work for Progress, and I only have direct experience with JBoss MQ.
