We are having a bit of an issue with a gateway on one of our websites accepting Maestro payments.
It comes back with this message when checking out with Maestro –
"The payment method you selected does not support the credit card type you are trying to use. Please select a different payment method or use a different credit card number."
In our X-Cart system, we have the card type as SWITCH which I believe to be correct... I've elsewhere that setting it to '9' is the correct thing to do, but this did not work either.
Other credit card payments work fine.
We have not yet enabled the site for 3D Secure, but apparently the Maestro payments should still work without, until 2010.
Can you shed any light on this? Thanks in advance!
