Good websites that teach web based languages?

Hi, I was wondering if there are any good websites that can teach me how to web based programming languages.

I have tried w3schools but was not very satisfied with it.

Well, I've had experience with a newbie who liked tizag.com. Sometimes it seems like it's kind of the blind leading the blind there, but apparently they take a useful perspective in their tutorials and such.

2. Dive Into Python

Both are absolutely excellent resources.

HtmlDog is great for HTML and CSS. I highly recommend it. It teaches you the basics in an easy-to-understand fashion, and there are sections on advanced topics as well.
