I have a virtue mart website it takes forever to load.How do I increase the speed with which the site loads.
Joomla! is known to be slow, especially on shared hosting. Such is the trade-off with out-of-the-box CMS solutions.

I only wish there was some way you could search across the internet for lists of such suggestions.
Oh yeah, http://www.google.com/#q=optimize+joomla the top two results have entire lists.
Sorry for the semi sarcastic tone, however a simple google or documentation search should have found what you were looking for.
