How to develop movable and resizable edit text control

Hello all i need to develop Edit Text box widget ( standard one ) that could be re-sized dynamically by the user and also could be movable on the x/y parent window is there any link or tutorial so i could learn how to do this ?

somthing like this component , but its old i need to know if its the best way for doing it ? wxResizeableControl
