How do I find Programming Clubs/User Groups in my Area?

Been programming for a while and would like to talk or chat with someone in my same programming language.

Just try some searches on Google with the following format "[your city name] Developer User Group" (without the quotes). It's simple but seems to be pretty effective so long as the group has a website.

depending on the state he resides in, it may be better to search for "[your state name] User Group" and then go from there
