I'm kinda new to this whole CDN and RTMP stuff. But with regards to delivering movies over the web, be it streaming or buffering or whatever, what is the best way to do this? And is this also the best way according to latest web standards?
I've read that some people say to put your movies files on a CDN and then stream them over RTMP. I've got an edgecast account and I've tried using jw player, flow player and even dash player, but none of them want to stream my file. So now my question is, if RTMP is the way to go, then which implementation is the best?
Anyways, this question might be somewhat confusing, but any comments will be appreciated.
