Assuming that your Xcode/Mac OS X installation is not compromised in some fashion, one of the few reasons that might happen is if you failed to authenticate for debugging purposes.

What should I do to fix this?

File a bug, include any useful output found in the console, and consider a reinstall. If you installed Snow Leopard, did you also install Xcode from the DVD, too?

I'm having the exact same problem. Recently installed snow leopard and installed xcode from snow leopard disk. updated all software. I still cannot get into instruments on the iPhone. I get the same error as shown above. It verified all by provisioning files and builds. I've tried to run it every way I can think of. through xcode, through instruments directly. No idea what to do next. Any other feedback on this post??? Was bug filed ??

Thanks!!!
