I am at the last year of my scholar curriculum (Computer Science Engineering, a pretty broad title but yes, there is no specialization at my university).
I now wish to make my profile available online for job recruiting purposes. I am aspiring for an international career (I am French, but I've studied quite a lot abroad and currently live in Japan, where I would like to start my career if possible)
I have found a few websites that would help me create and update my "professional profile" online but I am willing to hear from those who either already experienced them or those having better alternatives to propose. Here are the links that I have in mind:
- http://www.likedin.com (seems to be a good starting point)
- http://www.twitter.com (well this one I know, but not from a professional viewpoint)
- http://www.doyoubuzz.com (for recruiting in France)
- http://www.facebook.com (polluted with not-safe-for-work stuff, so I need to clean it up a little beforehand, but I think a clean page could come in handy)
- http://www.stackoverflow.com (Well, I like this website so a link on my profile when I'll have more points could be good on an online resume ;-) )
- write a personal blog about my daily personal programming experiences
Can someone tell me good websites to manage one's professional reputation/resume in a job-hunting prospective?
Thank you for your time.
