Hi, been searching a while to no avail. I have a photo gallery page with a flash slideshow player (imagerotator). Underneath I am showing thumbnails of all gallery images in one line w/horizontal scrolling.

Now when that list gets long, all thumbs after an arbitrary number (somewhere between 50 and 80) are rendered plain white upon first page load in Firefox; Or more precisely, the space that a thumb occupies gets created, but there's no image.

Then, the missing images instantly show up properly when Firefox is redrawing that area, such as when scrolling out of and back into that area, or when I fire up my web developer plugin outline tool and go over that thumbnail list.

I'm able to reproduce this in FF2+3/Win XP and FF2/Mac.

Here's a demo: http://www.katjaheil.de/debug/
Use the back arrow next to the thumbs to jump forward to the last thumb. Note that once the thumbs are cached it usually doesn't happen again. Clearing my cache and restarting the browser reproduces it every time.

Any ideas, thoughts or pointers are appreciated as I'm pretty much out of ideas.

Thanks!

//Edit: how do I make the URL a link!? The suggestions in the "How to Format" box don't work for me.
