Wordpress Upgrade Problem

Upgraded fine from 2.8 to 2.9, but now get this error when I view the url:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method Redirection::_weak_escape() in /var/www/html/wordpress/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 515

I can't even login to Dashboard to remove plugins or anything, only via FTP can I work on this. Any help would be appreciated :)

was a plugin issue.

You may want to add which plugin it was, and what you did to solve it in case other people with the same problem stumble upon your question.

it was the plugin Redirection. Remove that via ftp and it should work. If not, then re-name the folder 'plugins' to something else (as this will remove all plugins from WP to test). If this doesn't work then you'll just have to re-install WP and move it all over to new installation. But the above was due to Rediection. I manage over 100 WP blogs so each one tends to be different...
