Hello,
Is there a open source website builder application.
[edit] no db entry I need to install it on my server and permit users to create pages. Not looking for cms's like drupal,wordpress, joomla etc

Though i dont use them , here are a list of the ones i know/found :
- Drupal is a highly recommended CMS (well not a site builder, but certainly worth a look at)
- Open Site builder
And according to Wikipedia , Seamonkey is considered an open source free web builder!

Not quite like geocities and the likes, but close, I just need users to create a one page on their intranet home page

There are more such tools than you shake a stick at.
Personnally I find wikis easier to manage and engage users than CMS. So I'd suggest Dokuwiki

How about StoreDIY (www.storediy.com)? It's no open source, but their standard version is free. It's very easy for non-technical people. Maybe suits your needs.
