Hi, I'm looking for a way to display a panel/div without the use of a Splitter control. I would like a button on the right/left side, and once clicked, it would display a sliding panel similar to a lightbox, such that the underlying content (behind the slide out panel/div) would have the appearance of being disabled/greyed out.
I'm planning on using such a panel for giving our users the option to Create New entities on the fly without having to navigate to a new page. It would be similar to a mixture of how salesforce.com & workday.com handles their Create New functionality.
I have used a Splitter in the past, and would prefer to not go this route for this particular instance.
Can someone give me a suggestion or a possible solution?
