I have a blog site running WordPress. I have users who want to use Google Docs to write blog posts and publish them to my site.

There is an option in the "Share" menu for doing just this, and it works nicely, except the suggestion is made:

To automatically categorize your blog posts, just tag your documents with a category name you already use on your blog site.

I have found two references to this concept (by googling, natch). Both are asking the same question, without result. Any suggestions?

Three corollary questions:

Where can I find the Movable Type API (which is recommended as supporting the most features, with no enumeration.)

Is there a logging capability in WordPress so I can track these transfers?

Is there a logging capability in Google Docs for the same purpose?

A:

The suggestion is strange, since there aren't exactly "tags" in Google Docs anymore. So I don't know if it's going to be possible to categorize when posting from it.

Did you try to create folders and act like they were tags, and see if posting from a doc inside a folder automatically categorizes with the folder's name?
