When I go to Central Admin > Application Managment > Manage search services I get the following error:

Any idea why I may be getting this error and how I can make it stop? I don't know if it is related to using a custom masterpage. Is it possible to revert the masterpage?

The URL that the error comes up on is myserver:port/_admin/managesearchservice.aspx
