Hi Mike
I understand the problem that you are facing. Did you fix it? If yes, then please let me know the solution.
For others, let me rephrase the question. I am using Thickbox modal window on IE7/8. Works fine except the fact that the modal window always appears at the top of the page. Unfortunately, the link that triggers the modal window is at the bottom of a long page. I am using a dark overlay. So in this scenario users only see the overlay when they click this link as the modal window appears at the top of the page. They will need to scroll up to the top of the page in order to view the modal window. Needless to say, this is not intuitive at all. Works fine in Firefox.
Is there a way to make sure that the modal window always appears in the browser viewport even if the link is at the bottom of the page?
