Hi I am appearing for SCWCD exam in couple of days but as SUN is acquired by Oracle does it affect the exams of SUN like SCJP, SCWCD. Is it same worth of like earlier or does Oracle change it. Thans...

I sincerely doubt any certifications would be rendered 'void', either by Oracle or prospective employers.

The certifications tie to a specific version of Java, presumably 5 in your case. Any corporate acquirements won't affect your knowledge of a past version...

From Oracle:

Your Sun training needs will now be served by Oracle University, the education division for Oracle. We are pleased to have you as a customer and are committed to providing comprehensive curriculum to meet your training requirements.

Oracle University has made significant effort to minimize the impact of the combination of Sun Learning Services with Oracle University by:

  • Retaining top Sun instructors
  • Continuing to teach all active Sun and MySQL courses and developing new courseware to support new releases
  • Continuing Sun’s popular certification program and honoring Sun certification exam vouchers
  • Proactively scheduling the most popular Sun courses in our education centers
  • Continuing to offer on-site, self-paced, and custom training
  • Preserving and honoring existing pre-paid training accounts

Personally, I wouldn't worry about this, and just get your head down and revise! ;)
