Finding the range of ip address using ur ip.in flex 3

Question

Hi, I am developing a network based allication in flex 3 using actionscript.....i need to find the range of ipaddress in which mine will be ....

for example in wireless if my ip adders is 192.168.26.166...then system should detect the rangelike 192.168.24.0-192.168.31.255

so that i can browse all their systems in a LAN(WIRELESS or WIRED).....can anyone give me the code or some refrence to how to do this....also i want know my ip address in code................... And i wuld be happy if anyone tell me how to browse for shared folders in a networks
