Daily testing of online applications (by humans)

Hello,

we've got various online applications (public sites, closed user sites). These sites are backed by our own applications which again interact with different other online services / databases. We import data every night and also change the application frequently. So far nothing special.

Of course from time to time something breaks, although I think we're pretty good since we have continous builds, thousands of unit tests, monitoring etc.

Sometimes trivial stuff breaks, and I'd like to minimize the "syntax error in line 10" kind of errors.

This is at least partly a job that can only be done by humans (automated testing seems to be too expensive to set up for certain areas).

I've been searching the web (google) with keywords like automated testing, human gui testing etc. but cannot find any references / companies providing such services.

Any suggestions where to look?
