Everytime I install a joomla component, module or plugin in my local, when I go to htdocs/myjoomla/components I see that the component directory is owned by nobody (I see it's locked) therefore I could not have the permission to alter the file. Now in order to get the permission I need to chmod 777 via the terminal which is completely a great hassle everytime I install an extension. What do I have to do in order that after installing a joomla extension, the folder will have a permission owned by the user?

Here is the scenario: 1. OS : Ubuntu 9.04 2. user: lala lala 2. htdocs owner: lala lala
