Hello all,
I have a workex of 3.5 years in embedded systems programming and development,But now i feel the job as mundane as their is no variety of work. Also,In the said domain the individuals profile is dependent on the type of work i.e. current project which is entirely a organization's strategic decision. To elaborate on this i mean even if the organization is very good and has a good brand name but the project (work) is not upto the current professional standards then the victim is the Developer. Also there are no industry recognised certifications available to upgrade ourself on our own. I want to switch to Networking domain and also done my basic level certification i.e. CCNA. I have considered networking domain because of followinf reasons (Open for Criticism)
1) My Interest in Real Time Systems 2) I feel that i will do much better in this domain (even though iam new). 3) Rise is good in this domain as there are plenty of relevant Certifications available which one can pursue on its own. 4) No company today works without networks, so scope is in every sector i.e. Core IT industries,Retails,Manufactures,Banks (as compared to programming which is very sector specific) 5) The last but not the least i can see myself grow in networking domain and can put my best in a job which i love to the core.
I have expressed my line of thought, please Provide Suggestions and criticisms on this.
