PHP fork promblems in OSX

HELP :)

I was trying to copy the Zend_Tool stuff into /usr/etc/php (according to 'which php' command). I don't know what went wrong but if I try and run php from the command line I get this error : /usr/bin/php: fork: Resource temporarily unavailable

I can't find any help online.

Anyone have any suggestions ?
