Problem with creating MS Access views on sharepoint 2010 lists

I am trying to create an "Access View" for a sharepoint 2010 list..When I click on "Access View" i am not getting any response..there is no redirection to any page or anything like that...

Do we need to get some service up and running to get that done?

Another confusing thing is that when I open up that list in "Mozilla Firefox" the option "Access View" itself is not visible...What should I do to solve these problems?
