What are the packages in the default install of RHEL4?
Anyone got a list handy? With version numbers.
I'm in, what I imagine is not an uncommon position where, as the developer, I'm expected to build in all the latest and greatest features using the latest and greatest releases; but the system administrators are in the position of treating everything new as a certain source of security breaches. They are determined to see it out till end-of-life... possibly beyond.
I did google around but haven't been able to find a definitive list of all the packages of the default install of RHEL4.
Anyone got it? Point to it? I don't have access to the production box so can't look it up myself of course. And asking the sysadmin's themselves will require filling out work requests, getting the 3rd degree on why I'd want it, and undoubted waiting for endless weeks.
