It seems that the large majority of tutorials, samples and in fact out of the box templates guide devlopers new to RIA Services towards building a simple CRUD / table editor app.
I realize that CRUD is simple to communicate and gets a big round of applause but I can't believe that real line of business applications are all that simple.
Are there any examples available for people building silverlight applications in environments where nobody has access to the database directly. For example imagine buiding a "leave tracking/vacation planning" application that fronts a PeopleSoft implementation.
