We have our application running on IIS 7, the application pool configured was classic. I have to changed some url re-writing to change the urls and removed .aspx as an extension from the urls. After deploying I have found that url re writing works with integrated mode only and secure pages stopped working. ie pages which are used to open with https, because of securewebpages tag in web.config, are now opening without https. If I choose running application in classic mode then url re writing enhancements stops working.
if anyone have the solutoin, please help me out. I promise that I will never play with application pool. :-)
