Difference between Facebook and Twitter APIs

Hello, I am looking for any kind information that shows the difference between Facebook and Twitter APIs. (IE what you can retrieve via API, privacy difference etc) for my graduation thesis as a starting point.

I will be grateful if you point out any source of information.
