ERROR : [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified

Question

Hi , while connecting .net to sybase server... got this error message [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified

it was working sometime back. system DSN with same detatils work and data connection through vs.net also work.

i am using vs.net 2005

Any suggestions?

follow these steps

1. Start Registry Editor by typing regedit in Run window

2. Select the following key in the registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ODBC

3. On the Security menu, click Permissions.

4. Grant Full Permission for the account which is being used for making connection .

5. Quit Registry Editor.

I have tried the same thing but I am not able to run application from IIS, its working fine with web-dev.
