How to determine if an application (e.g. Adobe AIR) is running on a 64-bit OS? What function could one use to check this? (Code sample, please.)

I found one simple solution... Are there any others?

If you use windows x64 you always have a folder for old (x86) programms (Program Files (x86)) so if it exists than you are on x64 if it does not - x86. Sory - I do not how it works on Mac or Lin but I am shoure there are x64 or x86 specific files installed with OS.
