NetBeans auto-expand folders in Projects or Files window on startup?

When I close NetBeans IDE 6.8 with specific folders expanded in the Projects or Files window, and then open NetBeans the next time, all of the folders are collapsed, which means I have to manually go through and expand the folders I want open again.

I have to suspect I'm overlooking something obvious here, but I can't find a way to make NetBeans restore the Projects or Files window to it's previous state on startup. Help?
