Hello,

I'm going to attend a job interview on Friday this week. It's an interview for a position of PHP programmer (the company doesn't do websites so I guess they just need somebody to administer their website).

I'm expecting there will be more people at the interview and that we will be given some simple questions or tasks in PHP so they can choose.

I'd like to ask if anybody has any experience with interviews like this, what should I be expecting? What are the most common questions or simple tasks/programs in PHP employers give to potential employees? Thanks.

I'm sorry. I wasn't asked for any passcode. Don't know why it is asking you.

What I can tell you is that it's not so much what you answer (so long as it's right obviously, if it's some code question), but more what people look for is your overall attitude to see if you'll be a good "fit" in the organization. That is harder to determine than skill level, or knowledge. It's much worse to hire someone who will be toxic in your carefully crafted environment than it is to fix just about any other problem.

probably about caching. Database integration. A simple CMS include membership modul. simple CRUD jobs that's all

A buddy of mine got asked to create a simple login page for a website, I think that was the whole interview but then again his company does seem pretty chilled.
