Note I am not asking for which is the "best" IDE for PHP or anything subjective like that. I want to know which is the most widely used backed by some sort of statistic (something like the W3's stats for browser usage) but for IDE usage amongst PHP developers.

Probably Zend Studio (Eclipse) or NuSphere PhpED, but I use Komodo + Vim and I don't know anything about statistics. If you don't mind asking, what's the purpose of your question?

Sheer curiosity, I use Netbeans and am very satisfied with it, so I'm not looking to switch camps but it's always nice to know which is the most popular of anything just to stay in touch with what's happening in the programming world. I would really like to see some stats though but Google queries returned nothing reliable yet...

I used NuSphere PhpED for a couple of years before getting into the .NET world. Well worth the money. I'll probably look into a bunch of options again now that I'm finally getting back to work on my website (Wordpress).

I use highly customized vim with ctags. Works very well for me. I tried eclipse with php lot of times, but it just doesn't the best solution for me. Eclipse for Java rocks but with php it's nor really brilliant.
