Can anyone recommend a good Scrum book in German? We are organizing some Scrum training but I would also like to get the team to read something as a primer. We have the classic "Agile Software Development with Scrum" book (Schwaber/Beedle) in English but it doesn't seem to be available in German.

Can any German speakers recommend something they read in German that was particularly good?

Sorry, don't know about any Scrumbooks in German, but I can recommend: Scrum and XP from the Trenches Which is in English, but it's actually free to download as a PDF.

Thanks Ulf. I already have this and as you say, it's good. However, for a lot of the team reading such a large doc in English could be a problem. That's why I'm looking for something in German.

EDIT: a german translation of Scrum and XP from the trenches is available.

I'm not a native english speaker and found Scrum and XP from the trenches rather easy to read. And it's not that big as it includes a lot of graphic. Moreover, according to the author, a german translation is on the way.

People certainly can start with the english version and then re-read the german version when it'll be available. And it is so good that reading it twice is not a waste of time.

I suggest to visit http://amazon.de and entering "scrum" as search term.

He asked for a "good" book, i.e. personally recommended and not "a list of all German scrum books". Down-vote.
