Hi, I'm looking for a hosting company that do shared windows hosting (for ASP.NET, must have the latest .Net framework installed!)

My current provider (I previously developed in PHP) are Hostgator however they only offer dedicated windows servers, which I can't afford! Anyone know any?

It looks like you're in the UK so if you're looking for a host for a small-to-medium size hosting company I can recommend Red Fox Hosting. I use them for my blog site and have never had any problems. They also have the excellent Helm control panel which lets you manage your site, settings, databases etc.

Note that although it doesn't say they have .NET 3.5 the ASP.NET 2.0 option is actually hosted on 3.5 (not SP1 yet though AFAIK so if you need that then it could be a problem).

I've not had any issues with Webhosting UK and they do a range of single hosting, reseller, vps and dedicated.

Hope this helps :-)

This one looks really good, and a decent price! Looking for some reviews

I've used DiscountASP.net on small projects in the past with success. They seem to keep up pretty well with the latest versions of Microsoft technologies.

Thanks for all your help guys, I looked at all those and tried searching with different key words and I found..

http://www.appliedi.net/iis7-hosting/iis7-features.html

Just got off their Live Chat, for anyone else who's looking for a host that fits the loose description I gave in my OP, these guys seems to rule! Last windows host I had, you had to use their web interface for everything! Uploading the site, the database management, etc!

These guys allow use of SQL Management Studio, using stuff like Subsonic, have 3.5 sp1 IIS7 and MS SQL 2008!

Think I'll look for reviews of their service and if all is good I'll sign up.

Thanks again.
