WordPress 3.0: Adding sub menus to custom post types

Question

I'm not sure if this is an oversight on my part, or an oversight in the development of WP 3.0 custom post types; you can add new sub menu options to built in Posts or Pages quite easily. I cannot for the life of me figure out if it is possible to add them to a custom post type.

I have tried add_submenu_page( 'custom_post_type' ... (replaced with the object name of the custom post type of course), which does not work. I have even given add_submenu_page( 'edit.php?post_type=custom_post_type' ... for giggles but no go. Does anybody know how we can add custom sub menu options to our new post types?

Nevermind, I must have had too little coffee and fell victim to a typo - the second method I listed above works just fine. Snazzy.
