issue with panel override for specific node

Question

I have a node view panel that overrides nodes. My variants are setup to only override certain content types. One variant only overrides a specific node.

I am using a php selection rule to achieve this. The node id is 2856. So the url is domain.com/2856 I also have a view setup that creates a feed whose path is domain.com/2856/feed

The problem is my node override seems to take precedence over my view feed. So I am unable to browse to the xml feed.

I have added to my selection rules to only override if the url does not contain 'feed' But now if I go to the feed url it shows the basic node not overridden but still does not show the feed.

Any ideas?
