What is the best way to learn about siteCore ?

Hey ppl.

i am from .net backgroud.i have to learn about siteCore.i got some manual from them.But to understand more easly is there any thing else.which explain shor and clear ?

As for me I started with reading some docs from official documentation package and then just practice, practice and practice:)

I know for me, DixonD's answer would be good. But I studied the older concepts from 5.3 and it really helped alot. Here's a link to the fundamentals of Sitecore.
