I've got an annoying bug that I just can't solve and after fiddling with it for several days I need some help. I'm working on a portfolio site and the site displays fine in all browsers. That is, on my desktop that runs Vista.
Checking the site on my netbook which runs on Windows 7 showed an annoying thing: IE8 keeps reloading the background image no matter what I try. Tried all the meta http-equiv fixes. Caching the images through .htaccess, installing a caching system, but no matter what I try, ie8 on win7 keeps refreshing the background image. It works fine in Chrome and FF on win7.
