I'm working on a project, creating a distributed client/server webcrawler. I've looked into heretrix/grub/boinc/etc... I'm looking to find a couple of people who are relatively skilled in this area that I can talk to, discuss some issues with.
If you know of a good architecture that discusses both the client/server side issues, or if you can point me to sites that I may have missed, or other skilled people that I can talk to, that would be cool!
I'm in the bay (san jose/oakland) area, although I could just as easily talk via phone...
I know this isn't the usual usage for stackoverflow, so be easy on me! (Posting this in Craigslist/LinkedIn hasn't gotten any serious replies in the past!! And yeah, I've got a few calls in to the local Berkely/Stanford colleges as well...)
