What does Amazon use for its build and release system

Amazon is a SOA system with 100s of services (or so says Amazon Chief Technology Officer Werner Vogels). How do they handle build and release?

Anyone know what they use or the overall structure? I'll bet it would be very interesting to read about their lessons learned.
