I am currently trying to use the package "ape" in R for drawing phylogenetic trees (like dendograms). What I would like to know is whether it is possible to add (directed) arcs between the leafs of the dendogram, in addition to the dendogram itself, and have some number above them.
It is like having a directed (maybe complete) graph over the leafs of the dendogram in addition to the dendogram itself.
If there is another way to do it, other than ape, I would also be glad to know.
