Thanx for your snippet it helped me a lot.

Can we view our Custom field from Main Contacts Application?

Congratulations that you managed to store a custom mimetype data on a contact.

Unfortunately the built in Contacts applications won't display those fields for you. You will have to display it in your own application on your own UI elements.

Hi all,

Thanx for helping me regarding storage of custom field data in Contacts Application.

How facebook & twitter applications are displaying their Custom data been inserted(i.e facebook id) in Contacts Application?

I came to know programatically inserted Custom field data cant be viewed from Contacts Application.

Whether we can view our ContactMethods which processes those Custom data?

Help me how to create a ContactMethod for that Custom data and to display that method in Contacts Application.

Documentation provided by google on these is little bit confusing so please help me ....
